Mohammed Masum

Masum is a recent graduate with an MChem degree in Chemistry from the University of Oxford and is a junior consultant at Plenitude Consulting, where he leverages his expertise to deliver exceptional service to clients. 

Masum has gained experience within KYC managed services. He has worked on projects, helping clients streamline their KYC processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and mitigating risks associated with financial crimes. He has performed SDD, CDD, and EDD on customers to identify potential risks – thereby, safeguarding the financial integrity of institutions.

Masum is currently working within the fraud practice at Plenitude Consulting. He has worked with clients to optimise their fraud prevention controls to minimise losses from fraudulent activity. In this capacity, he has observed clients to determine their issues by conducting thorough assessments and in-depth analyses of their existing processes and systems. This has involved meticulously gathering data, identifying pain points, and uncovering inefficiencies. By engaging with key stakeholders and understanding their unique challenges, Masum has been able to gain a comprehensive view of the issues at hand.

Armed with these insights, Masum has helped to implement targeted strategies to address and improve the identified problems. He has devised and delivered customised training solutions that leverages his knowledge in compliance and fraud prevention, utilising advanced technologies and best practices. These strategies have enhanced the overall operational effectiveness and fraud prevention for clients.
