PS23/6 summarises the feedback received by the FCA following industry consultation in January 2022 on cryptoassets and provides information on:
- Categorisation of cryptoassets;
- The consumer journey for investing in cryptoassets;
- The role of authorised firms communicating and approving cryptoasset financial promotions;
- The FCA’s approach to registered cryptoasset businesses communicating financial promotions under the Money Laundering Regulations 2017 (MLRs); and
- Cost-benefit analysis (CBA) revisions
