IMF's Paper on Cryptoasset policies

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the Financial Stability Board (FSB) have published a Synthesis Paper on Policies for Crypto-Assets.

The publication presents advanced policy and regulatory recommendations to identify and respond to macroeconomic and financial stability risks associated with crypto-assets.

The report covers:

  • Implications of crypto-assets;
  • Comprehensive policy and regulatory response; and
  • Policy implementation roadmap.
