An evening of connection, confidence, and bold self-advocacy
On 18 March, Plenitude and Strise were proud to host an exclusive International Women’s Day event in London, featuring Stefanie Sword-Williams—entrepreneur, author, and founder of F*ck Being Humble.
The evening brought together a vibrant community of women from over 25 financial services firms for a powerful and interactive session filled with real talk, practical strategies, and meaningful connection. Stefanie’s candid and compelling insights sparked dynamic conversations that could have carried on well into the night.
From owning your narrative to embracing discomfort, here are just a few standout messages from the evening:
- Don’t wait to be invited—invite yourself to the table. Self-advocacy is essential.
- Champion others, out loud. Use your voice to uplift those around you.
- Self-promotion doesn’t have to feel awkward. Find your authentic approach and build a support system that empowers you.
- Inaction is still a choice. Be intentional about how you show up.
- Discomfort is part of growth. Not everyone will be ready for your ideas—but that doesn’t make them any less valid.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening so special.
