JMLSG Updates Part I to align with changes in MLRs 2022

The Joint Money Laundering Steering Group (JMLSG) has published proposed amendments to Part I of its Guidance.

The updates reflect changes made by The Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing (Amendment) (High-risk Countries) Regulations 2022 and The Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2022.

The updates are in relation to:

  • high risk third countries;
  • trusts;
  • and proliferation financing.
